Caixa Capital is CGD Group's Private Equity and Venture Capital management company, developing its activity for over 20 years. It has a prominent market position in terms of portfolio size, funds under management and invested amounts.

Caixa Capital is a pioneering operator in the Portuguese market, managing four venture capital funds with a total capital of around 475 million euros.

Caixa Capital´s activities aim to support the global expansion of Portugal-related teams and companies. Through the various funds it manages Caixa Capital participates as a capital investor, directly or through third-party funds, in the creation and development of consumer, enterprise, life sciences, cleantech, energy, industrial, infrastructure, and service-based businesses.

The Private Equity team manages growth equity for high potential companies, contributing to the development of the Portuguese business environment. It focuses on the development and internationalization of new and existing businesses in established sectors.

Caixa Capital’s Venture Capital team invests in unique opportunities, helping our companies create significant value. Partnering with incubators, accelerators, business angels and major international venture funds, the team focuses on seed and startup investments.
