The construction of the new Braga Hospital was awarded Europe Health Deal of the Year 2009, by Project Finance magazine, a leading title from Euromoney. CaixaBI acted as Mandated Lead Arranger both in the infrastructure construction and maintenance of the hospital and in the clinical management, which amounted a total of 186 million euros. The sponsor for this 30 year project was Group José de Mello, and the execution by Somague and Edifer.
